Trust & data
Trust is the moat.
It is earned, never spent.
We handle sensitive health and research data, so we operate to regulated-industry standards from the first commit. These are the commitments behind that sentence, written plainly, so you can hold us to them.
Your data is not our product
We do not sell health data. We do not share it with advertisers, data brokers or insurers, and we do not train third-party models on identifiable records. There is no version of our business model that depends on doing so.
You can leave with everything
Every product exports your records in open formats, on request, without negotiation. For laboratory customers that includes the complete audit chain. A system you cannot get your data out of is not one you can trust.
Deletion means deletion
Account deletion is available inside the product, not buried in a support queue, and it removes your data on a defined schedule, backups included, not indefinitely retained.
The record shows what happened
Laboratory records are written to a hash-chained audit log covering registration, transformation, exclusion, analysis and reporting. Tampering is detectable by construction, including by us.
Access is scoped and logged
Role-scoped permissions, isolated tenancy, and logging of reads and writes. Staff access to customer data is limited to what a task requires and is recorded.
We say what we are
Our products are wellness and research-data tools, not medical devices. Nutrition figures are estimates, not measurements. Research is labelled research. We hold that line in marketing as strictly as in the product.
Wellness today. Medical only when we have earned it.
“Precision medicine” is a regulated phrase, and the single most important guardrail in our plan is the line between wellness claims and medical claims. Crossing it requires clinical validation and regulatory clearance, not a bolder headline.
| Where we are today | What would be required | |
|---|---|---|
| Claims | Trends, activity, general wellbeing, research recordkeeping | Diagnosis, clinical biomarkers, treatment guidance |
| Oversight | Consumer protection and health-privacy obligations | Medical-device regulation and clinical validation |
| Timeline | Now | Multi-year, deliberate, and announced when real |
Found a security issue?
Report it to [email protected] with enough detail to reproduce it. We will acknowledge within two working days, keep you updated while we fix it, and credit you if you would like to be credited. We will not pursue legal action against researchers acting in good faith who give us a reasonable window before disclosure.
This page describes the standard our legal documents are written to meet. The nutrition app’s Terms of Service and Privacy Policy are published in full on its product page. What this website itself stores on your device is listed on Cookies. Laboratory customers receive the Lattice agreement and data-processing terms before any real data is loaded.
